Rijal Almaa

Rijal Almaa is a multi-story stone village recognized by UN Tourism (UNWTO) as a Best Tourism Village and included on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List. Centered within the village is the Alma’a Heritage Museum, established inside Fort Al Elwan, which houses over 2,800 historical items spanning ancient weaponry, copper and silverware, agricultural implements, and traditional Qatt Al-Asiri interior decoration. The fortified stone towers with their distinctive white quartz window borders make Rijal Almaa one of the most visually striking heritage sites in the Aseer region.
