Al Balad Taif (Souq Al-Balad) is one of the oldest markets in the Middle East, sitting at the heart of old Taif. Covered lanes and heritage gates open onto alleys lined with shops selling gold and silver jewelry, perfumes, spices, kohl, henna, and traditional goods, all set against Hijazi-style architecture with arched windows and carved wooden doors. It remains a living symbol of Taif’s identity and a popular spot for heritage shopping and evening strolls.
