Basta
Basta is one of Abha's earliest urban neighborhoods, a historic quarter along Wadi Abha known for its traditional stone-and-mud architecture and Qatt Al-Asiri art.
Situated along the banks of Wadi Abha in the town center, Basta is one of Abha’s earliest established urban centers. The historic neighborhood features stone-and-mud buildings adorned with Qatt Al-Asiri art, an ancient Ottoman bridge built in 1872 spanning 140 meters, open communal squares, and heritage festival grounds. Basta remains an active gathering place for cultural events and continues to reflect the traditional character of old Abha.
