Bab Alhazm (formerly known as Bab Shubra for its view of nearby Shubra Palace) is one of the historic gates of old Taif’s city wall, alongside Bab Al-Ri’ and Bab Al-Abbas. The gate opens onto the central Souq Al-Balad district, where traditional gold and jewelry shops, cafes, and heritage buildings line the pedestrian lanes.
